Subscriptions

You will only be charged if you have added your payment details and subscribed to a paid plan. If you forgot to cancel, or if you were charged by mistake, please let us know, then we will issue a refund.

1. Free trial

When signing up to Fishbowl for the first time, you are allocated 14 days free access where you can link your meeting rooms at no cost. You have access to the Premium plan during your trial.

2. Subscribing

If you would like to continue with a paid plan, please Log In, click on Subscribe and follow the prompts.

2.1 Renewal type

You can choose between Automatic Renewal and Manual Renewal.

Automatic renewal means that you pre-authorize your card or PayPal, and we automatically collect payment when your subscription renews. If you would like to subscribe to a monthly plan, then you must opt for automatic renewal. All automatic renewal customers will be charged by our Merchant of Record (MoR), Paddle.com. Paddle acts as a reseller, and you will be invoiced by Paddle. In other words, the invoices you receive will be from Paddle, and Paddle should be listed as the supplier in your accounting system.

Manual renewal means that you will not be charged automatically. When your subscription is due for renewal, then you will receive a quotation. You need to accept the quotation before an invoice is generated. Once invoiced, you need to manually pay the invoice. If you pay via card, PayPal, or iDEAL, then you will be charged by our Merchant of Record (MoR), Paddle. If you pay via SWIFT bank transfer, then you will be invoiced by Strix Technology (Pty) Ltd.

2.2 Payment Method

You can select to pay either online (using a card, PayPal, or iDEAL), or via Bank Transfer (SWIFT). If you selected Automatic Renewal in step 2.1, then you can only pay online.

2.3 Plan and Plan Interval

You can select between the Business or Premium plan. The Premium plan offers remote configuration, disconnection alerts, and analytics. You can compare the differences between the two plans here.

You can select between monthly, yearly, or three-yearly billing intervals.

2.4 Quantity

Specify the total number of devices that you need to connect to your account. If you would like to decrease the number of your subscribed devices later, then you can delete the unwanted devices from your list of linked devices and then update your subscription.

2.5 Billing Email

If you pay online (card, PayPal or iDEAL), then your billing email will identify you at our billing partner, Paddle. If you pay offline, then your billing email will receive renewal reminders, quotations, and invoices.

2.6 Company name, address, and VAT number

If you would like to pay in your personal capacity, then you can only pay online (using card, PayPal, or iDEAL). Your address and (optionally) your VAT number will determine which VAT is levied by our payment partner, Paddle. If you would like to pay via bank transfer, then you cannot do so in your private capacity. If you are based in the EU, then you also need to supply us with a valid VAT number for us to reverse-charge (0%) EU VAT.
